Now here's something I really like for whatever reason

Multitool knifes

I don't really know why, but I definitely have a bit of a fascination with these things

I love the idea of one compact object having multiple uses

I don't like clutter, and I don't want a bunch of stuff that only has one function.

Although there is defintly a place for function specific tools

Obviously

But today I'm going to ramble about multitool knives.

My favorite is the Swiss Army Knife, Tinkerer, it has all the tools I find useful in a compact package.

I also use my Leatherman on a regular basis

Now theres are a ton of different configurations on the market and they all have there use cases and some are definitely more useful than others.

Get the right one and you'll probably be like me.

And use it basically everyday.

The tool I use the most, to honest is probably the can opener since at the moment I have one of the small kitchens imaginable, buying a regular kitchen can opener actually seems like it'll take up too much space,

I know that probably sounds crazy but its true,

I don't like clutter and this is a great item thats great in house and for trying to keep things compact for your next camping trip, this is great to have.

Also scissors, surprisingly useful to just have on hand without cluttering up your counter, pockets, or bag

The small screw drivers are great to

That doorknob in the entranceway got a little loose, BANG multitool

Adjusting the sights on your firearm while doing some target shooting, BOOM multitool

Bottle of wine on your camping trip, WOW multitool

Whatever you just bought from the store that came in what appears to be an impenetrable shield of plastic...

You guessed it, a multitool will be there to save the day.

Now these come In all kinds of configurations with all sorts of different tools, but its one of those items that is almost always useful. Around the house, out and about, camping trips, fishing trips, making a little tinder for a fire pit, cleaning under your finger nails you name it.

Now I don't know what your life is like, so every multitool is going to vary in how useful it is for you.

But there are some features I find I use the most so when I'm looking at these there are a few tools I want to make sure they have.

Scissors- probably more handy than you'd think

Can opener- Keep down the clutter in the kitchen and I have one in the woods when camping

Bottle open- even though basically everything can be a                               opener, but if you don't want to be a                                         caveman, these are useful.

Corkscrew, is super handy for bottle of wine if you want to                        keep the clutter down in the kitchen.

Knife,        your crazy if you think you'll use it for self                                defense, but it'll do the trick for that amazon                          package or whittling or making tinder on your                        next hiking trip.

I always find an unexpected use for the pilers as well

And if you get something chucky enough you can use it as a makeshift hammer if your in a pinch working on something small. Maybe your hanging picture at a tattoo studio, who knows.

You can even get some of the multi tools with flash drives and pens, which I haven't personally used yet but it could be a cool feature for the right person.

Are the possibilities endless?

Probably not.

But there definitely a lot of uses for these little things and they come in a compact package. Even if it just save you sometime fixing things around the house, A milti tool can be a worth while investment to have a handful of tools in a compact package that's easy to store.
